Realtor Ron White’s goal isn’t to help you buy or sell your next home – it’s to far exceed your expectations. And that makes perfect sense from a guy who lives by the motto, “If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing to the absolute best of your ability.”
Through the boom of the early 2000s to the Great Recession and to today, White has managed to become one of Redding’s most successful real estate agents.
He is especially proud that he has become the “go-to” agent for his favorite subdivision, Tierra Oaks Estates. “Since January 2015, I’ve sold 30 out of the 50 homes that have transacted there. The reason is obviously because I love the subdivision,” he says of his home for the past 12 years.
Whether it’s a high-end house in Tierra Oaks or a starter home, you can rest assured White will … exceed expectations in getting you HOME!
White has been successful throughout his life, from waiting tables while attending College, to a short stint as a Hair Stylist, to selling Professional Beauty products, to running a multi-million dollar Professional Beauty Distributorship for KMS Haircare, which is what brought him and wife Marjan to Redding nearly 30 years ago.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that we would have to move to a tiny little town in Northern California,” says White, a Bay Area native, whose wife was from Beverly Hills.
But the fulfilling work for KMS and the idyllic life in the North State won the Whites over. When their son Trevor was born in 1995, White found he missed several of his son’s milestones because of business, so he began searching for the next adventure.
As the couple was in the process of buying a new home, it was then, he says, that the light bulb went off. His agent was extremely successful but also seemed to have the time to enjoy life.
“I finally decided to get my real estate license,” White says. “I pulled the trigger and I’ve never looked back since.”
And home buyers and sellers in the North State are better for it, as White has thrown himself into helping both with one of life’s biggest purchases.
“Around 75 percent of our jobs are using everyday people skills,” White says, adding his college major in sociology/psychology and a minor in drama help him every single day. “A good real estate agent learns to listen to their clients and stay in front of every transaction.”
And while White’s dedication, persistence and high standards have been a boom for clients, his personal life also benefited. “My family is the most important thing to me in life,” he says.
And through his work with The Real Estate Group, his family added two “brothers” in Brokers Tom Miceli and Brian Salado.
“The team of people that they have had over the years are the best of the best, and I’m truly proud to have been a part of their dream,” White says.
