Sheraton Redding

Whether you want to put out-of-town family in a place that would impress even Aunt Martha or want to pamper yourself with a staycation getaway, look no further than the Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge.

A Marriott property, the hotel is the city’s lone four-star hotel and is situated in the center of Redding’s cultural heartbeat. The Sheraton sits at the entrance to the Turtle Bay Exploration Park, the Sundial Bridge and the McConnell Arboretum, adjacent to the Redding Civic Center.
It’s the partnership with Turtle Bay that makes the Sheraton experience complete. Guests can explore the world-class museum, walk the riparian habitat, stroll the tranquil gardens and snap selfies on the world-renowned Sundial Bridge.

“The hotel and Turtle Bay offer a complete experience, with a restaurant on site for both travelers and Redding residents to enjoy easy access to the museum and Forest Camp, Sundial Bridge, Sacramento River and other local attractions,” says General Manager Lindsay Myers.
Profits from the hotel also go back toward Turtle Bay’s ongoing educational programming, exhibitions and animal care.

The easy freeway access makes the Sheraton the perfect starting and ending point for adventures near and far in the gorgeous North State. Day trips to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Mount Shasta and Shasta Lake are a short drive away. When you return, the Sheraton offers the perfect place to unwind.

Each reasonably priced room is impeccably decorated with modern furnishings, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms and showers. The suites offer luxurious bedrooms, but extra space to spread out, relax and enjoy your stay in Redding. Their goal, quite simply, is to “provide service and hospitality that exceeds expectations.”

The pet-friendly, smoke-free hotel has 130 rooms spaced out on three floors with all the amenities you’d expect from a four-star establishment. In addition, the LEED-certified green building has seven meeting rooms that offer more than 33,000 square feet for business and community gatherings.
There’s an on-site fitness center, an outdoor pool and guests frequently are treated to live-animal encounters in the lobby as well as discounted admission to Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

Perhaps the cherry on top is Mosaic, the on-site restaurant that became an overnight hit with visitors and locals alike for its California-inspired cuisine with a Wine Country twist. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch are served with an impeccable menu and tremendous ambiance with either indoor or patio dining.

Since its 2018 opening – which featured a surprise wedding in the middle of the lobby by a couple that was instrumental in securing the hotel’s approval – the Sheraton Redding Hotel has been named “Best Hotel” for three years running.
