Anthony Pogodzinski is all about your good time.
His 14-year-old business Audio Video Alternatives specializes in designing custom audio-video systems to enhance your indoor and outdoor living spaces. From surveillance systems, TV and audio sales and installation, home theater and smart home products to outdoor kitchen, furniture and top-of-the-line barbecues – including the Big Green Egg – Audio Video Alternatives has you covered.
“My tagline is ‘Your entertainment is our goal,’” Pogodzinski says. ““Listen, I love what I do.The work, the pace, big jobs and big cities, all of it! You have to be constantly on the move to make things happen in this ever changing industry.”
And he and his team are on it. Raised in the electronics industry, Pogodzinski branched off his family’s business to start his own future with his growing family, including his wife Ashley.
“I wanted to ensure that our surrounding community can readily access an honest audio-video contractor,” he says.
He works with his customers – along with technician/Egghead and right-hand man Josh Pollard – to design the latest and greatest audio video system, automation or adding the new barbecue to add to your outdoor oasis.
“We personally customize it to your needs and expectations,” Pogodzinski says.
And they deliver.
“Our services provide entertainment to families from cooking around the outdoor kitchen to playing their favorite playlist in the backyard while swimming or around their fire pit to turning on their favorite ball game,” he says.

After moving from the North State for three years, Pogodzinski returned in 2014 with the goal of raising his family in this wonderful community and building a business that “involves family/friends from outdoor living to home entertainment.
“I love this community. From the business owners to the people that live here, I’m proud to call Redding home,” he says, adding Audio Video Alternatives offers discounts to first responders and military personnel.
Audio Video Alternatives also is active in the community, showing up at events like Kool April Nites and the CHP 11 99 Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament.
“We attend local events because I like to show products like the Big Green Egg and demonstrate it,” he says. “We sell the Big Green Egg because it is a ‘lifestyle’ product that brings family and friends together. We focus on that product because we believe in it and want families to be together and create memories.”
Audio Video Alternatives offers a wide variety of products and services, including Outdoor Living, patio furniture, outdoor custom kitchens, barbecue accessories, pergolas, fire pits, charcoal, pellets, the Big Green Egg and Napoleon Barbecues, outdoor TVs and sound systems. They also work on security systems, Ring and Nest systems. They cover everything from sales to installation/service and we are a licensed, insured and bonded company.
