Whether you need to wet your whistle after a tough day at the office or just want to hang out with friends, there’s only one stop in Red Bluff you need to make: The Round Up Saloon.

The Washington Street bar features 16 ice-cold beers on tap with dozens more in bottles. If you want something else, they offer countless varieties of liquor with an amazing bartending staff that is ready, willing and able to whip up your favorite potent potable. “We are all about getting people together to have a good time,” say Kendall Mayfield and Adrian Hernandez.

In business since 2007, the bar also showcases antiques and other “curiosities” that make it a must-visit. So stop in, grab a drink, play some pool and hang with friends. 

Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone there. You soon will. “Even though you may not know anyone here, you can come in and forget about your problems and recharge,” Mayfield says. “It’s a comfortable space for all. The people coming in often become more like family than patrons.”

The Round Up Saloon is dog-friendly and has a jukebox plus live music on the weekends. 

And more than your typical bar, they work to create a comfortable atmosphere with potlucks, giveaways and other fun activities. “We want to create a fun, comfortable place for everyone,” Mayfield says.

One particular event at the Round Up Saloon is quintessential Red Bluff – the chili cookoff to kickoff rodeo week. “When we host this event, we get locals and even people from out of town,” she says. “We are proud to be the lead in this every year.”

And the Round Up Saloon also is involved in other community projects, backing local Little League Teams – Red Bluff has been a youth baseball juggernaut in recent years – plus supporting the veterans’ community and promoting the U.S. Marine Corps’ birthday each year.
