When it comes to dressing up your house, nothing makes it shine like quality window coverings. That’s why it’s a great thing Jerry and Kim Bay have been running Budget Blinds of Redding for 20 years, in fact January 2023 marks their 20th anniversary!
With Budget Blinds of Redding, you don’t have to sacrifice quality for affordability because they offer “a style and service for every budget.” Jerry is a North State native who has been married to Kim for 37 years, raising their children in a community they are proud to be a part of and be able to give back to.
Their staff has years of experience and is able to bring their expertise to customers from the initial consultation through installation. They offer blinds, shades, accents, shutters and drapes from high-quality manufacturers and brands including Enlightened Style, PureVu Collection and Signature Series.
The staff takes the time to understand your individual needs in order to deliver the best custom window covering solution for you and your lifestyle. After all, no two houses or customers are the same, and the care they take helps not only with your privacy but keeping the elements and brutal North State sun from heating up your home.
From office manager Kim Bay to customer service manager Stashia to installer Cameron Brown, the folks at Budget Blinds have years of experience and flat-out know their stuff. “It’s not just the sale,” the Bays say. “It’s the satisfaction on the customer’s face when they see what we’ve done for them.”
Jerry Bay says he’s grateful for all the relationships built over the years through Budget Blinds, something he found lacking working in corporate middle management. “The ability to have time with my family was not possible,” he says of working with a large corporation. “The commitments took me too far from family too often.”
Being home and working in their community allows the Bays and staff to give back to their hometown. “We like the fact that we are able to give to the community in several ways we enjoy. Bikes for Kids is big for us and we have been a long time member of the Redding Chamber of Commerce,” they say.
Although locally owned, Budget Blinds is part of a 1,200-strong franchise system, which means the company is solid and provides buying power for their franchisees. The Budget Blinds of Redding website – www.budgetblinds.com/redding – is chock full of useful information, including available products, consultation scheduling opportunities and even a window treatment blog.
“We love going out into the customers’ homes, and when those same people call us again, we know we did something right,” say the Bays.
