Walk the Walk
Jefferson State Adventure Hub…
Jefferson State Adventure Hub walks the walk … and bikes the bike … and paddles the kayak.
Jasper and Melissa Hudson – along with sons Ryker and Rhett and shop dog Zip – don’t just sell terrific merchandise at reasonable prices. No, they know their stuff … because they’re often out in the vast North State using the same great products they sell at their Market Street store (down the street from S.J. Denham).
“This isn’t just a business or job for us,” Jasper says. “Our family and employees truly care for our customers and want them to have the best experience outdoors with our products.”
And just like their website says, “JSAHUB is where the greatest adventures begin!”
From bikes to apparel, footwear, water sports, and hiking and camping equipment, Jefferson State Adventure Hub gets you geared up for wherever the road or trail takes you.
And while some would be happy to sit behind a counter and sell, the Hudsons just aren’t wired that way.
Case in point?
Jasper joined buddies Ryan Spitz and Vinnie Ammon on the Odyssey 700 – a 12-day, 700-mile bike trek from the California-Oregon border to Stinson Beach, just north of San Francisco. The Odyssey 700 is chronicled on their website – www.jsahub.com.
They know what it takes to enjoy the North State, frankly, because they field test much of what they sell. They stock more gravel and bikepacking bikes than anyone in Redding. If you’d rather float, Jefferson State Adventure Hub has you covered with canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and life jackets.
“Honestly, seeing the joy and excitement people have on their adventures, knowing I help make it possible because I did my job well is so satisfying,” Jasper says.
And if you do things right, he says, customers go out of their way to let their friends know.
The team at JSAHUB takes pride in their job, customizing and tailoring their work and keeping up-to-date on the ever-evolving outdoor industry.
“I have always wanted to own my own business,” he says. “Fortunately, the opportunity came along after I had enough wisdom and experience in the outdoor industry to make a real go of it.”
And with Jefferson State Adventure Hub truly in the middle of all that makes the North State an adventure mecca, is there anyone better to rely on than Jasper, Melissa, Ryker, Rhett and Zip?
