“My approach to running this business is all about managing expectations and taking care, first and foremost, of those who are most important to me – my team,” Aly says. “I have always followed a people-over-profit model for this business and I try to continue that day in, day out.”
That team has been recognized twice as a Top 200 salon in the United States by Salon Today Magazine and Best of the Northstate for 2020.
“Our mission at Boheme is to serve from the heart while setting new standards of excellence in both customer service and technical skill,” Aly says.

Boheme offers a full complement of hair services – from a simple blow dry and style to deep conditioning treatment to dimensional color and extensions. Additionally, Boheme’s natural nail services (manicures and pedicures) are top-notch.
If all that weren’t enough, Boheme offers a variety of spa services customized for each individual. From a customized facial or smoothing facial to a massage (yes, even an expectant mother massage) and waxing, there isn’t much Boheme doesn’t have covered.

Aly Evirs knows taking care of her clients is paramount to Boheme’s success, but she gets inspired by providing her workers a place to grow, earn a living and find their path.
“Seeing my team grow, become better stylists, make more money and create their own path for success,” Aly says is the behind-the-scenes reward of running Boheme.
And being a woman in charge also is empowering.
“This industry is 85 percent women in the workplace, yet still run at the top by men,” she says. “I try to break those stereotypes and be sure to provide a space of equality in opportunity, education and pay.”
