Lab 24…

In the past few years, North State residents have gotten to know Lab24 during the pandemic as the company has been serving the community with COVID testing.

But the business founded in the North State in early 2018 is more than that. Lab24 is the local, full-service lab that provides blood work, toxicology testing and, yes, COVID testing.

Owners John Serle, Immanuel Roth, Julie McQueeny and Dr. Irwin Maier saw a need for a locally run lab “where test results could be processed faster locally (vs. being sent to other parts of the state) while providing local jobs and supporting the local economy.”

“Many community members got to know Lab24 during Covid, but Lab24 does much more than Covid testing,” the owners say. “We provide blood work and toxicology (drug testing) as well, serving individuals, medical facilities and companies. 

“All of our lab work is processed locally on site, providing jobs to the North State and supporting our community.”

Their work is impeccable and their standards high while providing accurate results, excellent service and quick turnarounds. Additionally, they’re invested in being a proud community partner.

Never was that more evident than in the work they did during the pandemic.

In addition to COVID testing, Lab24 does blood testing/blood work, drug testing and urine toxicology, molecular (PCR) testing and oral fluid testing. They are in network with multiple insurers, work with out-of-network companies and also accept cash payments.
