Authority Property Management

Six years ago, Joline and Aaron Robertson started Authority Property Management with no clients, but a belief that they could be a company that benefited both the property owners and tenants.

Fast forward to today, and Authority Property Management is not only a winner of Best of the North State, but a bona fide leader in the North State for property management companies.

“We were built from the ground up to be super efficient and streamlined,” Joline Robertson says. “We had our own vision with regards to how we sawy the property management industry. We wanted to design a system that made the rental experience simple for both owners and renters.”

The Robertsons and their 10-person team work to maintain good working relationships with both owners and residents, creating trust through communication and their presence.

“Service is our No. 1 priority,” she says. “We know that if we can take care of the property properly and treat tenants with respect, we will be highly regarded in the community as the leader in the rental housing business.”

The Robertsons have been married for 23 years with four children and six grandchildren. Their sons both work for them and their staff makes coming to work a joy, they say, as was evident by their workers coming in after the Carr Fire to see what assistance they could offer to APM’s clients.

And while the service starts with their professional staff, the Robertsons also utilize the power of the internet to enhance the experience for owner and tenant. Their website – www.authoritypm.com – is full of useful information, explanation and even allows clients to pay rent through a secure portal. They offer properties in Redding, Anderson, Cottonwood, Palo Cedro, Shasta Lake and everywhere in between.

Pull-down menus for owners and tenants explain in detail how Authority works and can aid them in finding the right fit. From an overview of services to the benefits of using Authority, owners can rest assured they’re getting an advocate for their property who’s interested in helping them enhance their rental. And the Authority’s tenant side gives detailed answers to many of the frequently asked questions.

But beyond that, it’s about personal connection that ensures both owner and tenant benefit from Authority Property Management’s strategies. They take the time to know what owners are looking for and need. They get those properties in front of potential clients before offering face-to-face showings. They screen clients to ensure the best tenants are chosen and work with both parties from agreement to move in and move out. Their system works to minimize possible disputes and they have the experience to find solutions. “Our top priority is building trust and creating long-lasting relationships with tenants and property owners,” Joline says. “We want our tenants and property owners to know we value them and any concerns they may have about their property or tenant.”
